Established in 1988 by Ross McGowan as McGowan Design the firm changed to McGowan Russell Group Inc. in 1997 when Susan Russell became partner. The firm has developed into a multifaceted practice to meet the needs of our clients without changing our core principles of sound planning, innovative yet practical design and respect for our clients objectives.

President and Principle Landscape Architect

Susan's over 35 years of experience has created a foundation for MRG's project portfolio and our broad fields of expertise. Her strengths in project management, development approvals, landscape design, & public consultation have helped lead clients to the successful completion of projects ranging from urban plazas to subdivisions. Her critical involvement in projects such as the Blue Bombers Stadium Plazas, Sage Creek Subdivision, Park City Commons and Winnipeg Beach Campground ensured that the projects were kept on schedule and in budget.

Jackie Wilkie - M.A.L.A., S.A.L.A. C.S.L.A.

Vice President and Landscape Architect

Jackie has over 25 years of experience working landscape architecture. Her generalist philosophy for landscape design has brought a wide array of projects to fruition such as Parkview Pointe Subdivision, Goldeyes Stadium Field and Plaza, Transcona Aquatic Park, and Winnipeg Transit Stops. Her expertise in detail design, site planning, subdivision design and public consultation supports the teams process for production of materials for presentations, drawing and specification packages, and contract administration.
